It has already been half time, my friends!

Dear students of next year´s 7s class - I hope you are having a great time in your holidays and preparing to pass your necessary exams splendidly, in case you need to!
I just wanted to say Hi and tell you that I am looking forward to starting school again in a little over 3 weeks ;-) It is crazy how fast the time goes, would you believe it?
Anyways, hope you are having a blast, the little "Fischberger" family is enjoying the rest and the sun after 2 and a half stressful weeks in England, where I was working at the Benenden Camp again this year...
I´ll write to you again some time soon, to give you more infos about our trip to Ireland at the end of October...

Arrivederci de Italia - our week at the Lago di Garda...!

Hi folks, this is it - we are finally back at home, super! ;-)
Well, I hope you had as much of a good time as I (and Fr. Prof. Ortbauer) did and that you enjoyed our little stay in Torbole!
Here are some first impressions of our stay and the adventures we experienced. On Monday, when we have our first sports science lesson (period 5) we will look back and talk about it - and you will get your CD with the pics...
The view of Lago di Garda on top of the Collodri Via Ferrata was impressive...

Soooooo cold.... ouch! ;-)

Happy Easter and relaxing holidays!

After a last really stressful week for you guys it´s finally time to relax - a little, folks, do not forget that AFTER a test is BEFORE the next test again! ;-)
Take care and have a good time with your families and friends and come back to school healthy!

Do not forget that, after only 3 days back at school, we´ll be going to Italy! Get organised for that, ok?

ELTERNSPRECHTAG NÄCHSTEN DONNERSTAG

Hi 6S,
please do not forget that next Thursday, April 14th, we have the 2nd parents´ day at our school, starting at 4 and ending at 7 - that means we need to do some preparatory work on Tuesday (you want to create a new price list) and organise who can be here and what we need to get - ask your parents if they can make cakes again and so on....

Thanks, see you on Monday, enjoy your weekend,

6s wins 500 euros in DJ competition....

Despite a complete lack of knowladge about DJing and the consequent bad choice of songs in the first place, 6S and Ernst Fischer succeeded in winning the DJ Competition in Empire St. Martin last night, therefore securing 500 Euros to the class budget for Italy at the beginning of May this year.
Thanks to the musical input of many students who contributed their ideas for songs and an outstanding, though a little embarrassing performance by head of the class Ernst Fischer, 6s managed to secure the cash, far ahead of the only other competitor to put on a set of songs with resident DJ Renee Rodriguezz tonite.
The money will be wisely spent, as there are buses and several other bills to pay for 6s in the following weeks - thanks again to Le Manu for the songs, the pep talk and all the students who went to St. Martin in order to help get the applause needed to win the money.
Pics to follow!

6s welcomes the Argentinian guy!

As head teacher of our year 6 sportsclass it is a pleasure for me to welcome a new member of class to the rest of the online world. Guiliano (I hope I spelt it correctly!) has just arrived from Argentina and will be with us for the rest of the school year.
Maybe he will have some time to introduce himself on this page - today he introduced his running skills to the school and beat the school record for 5000m - his time to beat is 18min46sec. Keep going, Guili! ;-)
I am glad that the class has received him very well and wish him all the best for his stay in Austria.
To be continued...

Open Day at the George...

Hi guys, as there was the Open Day at our school today and some students were involved in the sports show, I want to show you one picture I took of our boys - the only one missing is Philipp, I think, that´s a shame, though, as he was red in the face!
Well done boys, all of you did a really good job - you should be pleased with yourselves!

And now, the boys:
