Tonight we are staying in school over night!
The children have organised this event together with Herr Professor Fischer in order to spend some fun time together.
Hopefully, everything will go well and all the different tournaments and the disco are good fun.
Tomorrow, the parents can pick up their kids at about 9 at the school - they will be tired but, hopefully, very happy!
Next Friday, after the test, we will go to the IT rooms in school and upload stories and pictures from today´s experience.

Nach toller Disconacht am Donnerstag - freitags Abreise nach Linz
After a final night culminating in a gigantic disco the pupils of the 3rd and 4th grades of the GvP made their way back to Linz and left for their Easter holidays. Before that, though, there was some skiing and boarding under relatively good conditions - at the beginning there were snow fall and powder all around.
But there will not be any pictures of the disco because Professor Fischer lost his camera during the last morning, so the pics of the night before are lost also! It´s a real pity because, after a few minutes of fear and hesitation, around 50 brave youngsters were dancing as if there were no tomorrow! ;-) All in all, it was a really wonderful course, homogeneous and improving the friendship between all the classes! The way, these four classes got to know and respect each other, was really impressive.
On behalf of class 3S of the GvP I would like to thank Professor Windischbauer for organising this nearly perfect week of wintersports in Saalbach-Hinterglemm - thanks, Werner!

Nach dem letzten Abend, der mit einer fulminanten Disco noch einmal einen Höhepunkt des Kurses darstellte, machten sich die SchülerInnen der 3. und 4. Sportklassen des GvP am nächsten Nachmittag auf den Weg nach Hause in die Osterferien - zuvor wurde allerdings noch einmal Ski gefahren und geboardet, und das bei anfangs schönem Schneefall und tollen Tiefschneebedingungen.
Leider gibt es von der Disco keine Bilder, da Professor Fischer (naja, ich) die Kamera am letzten Tag noch verloren hat. Schade, denn etwa 50 mutige junge Menschen tanzten sich nach anfänglichem Zögern großteils zum ersten Mal in ihrem Leben die Seele aus dem Leib! ;-)
Alles in allem ein wirklich wunderschöner Kurs, homogen und für alle Klassen sehr verbindend. Wie sich diese 4 Klassen untereinander kennen und schätzen gelernt haben, war wirklich beeindruckend.
Im Namen der 3S Klasse möchte ich Herrn Professor Windischbauer noch einmal einen herzlichen Dank für die Organisation dieser Wintersportwoche aussprechen - Danke, Werner!
Jetzt aber schöne Ferien und dranbleiben - wir werden jetzt viel mehr in unserem Blog schreiben!

Der letzte Abend auf der Elmaualm
Heute schneite es den ganzen Tag, der Schnee war trotzdem angenehm zum Fahren.
Leider gab es heute wieder Verletzte: Lisa Veres, sie hat dich das Nasenbein gebrochen und Schnauder Michael [ 4t] hat sich eine Gehirnerschütterung zugezogen. Alexander Azesberger[ 3t] hat sich die Wachstumsfuge im rechten Handgelenk gebrochen. Trotz der Verletzungen sind die Betroffenen guter Dinge.
Heute ist der bunte Abend der Schüler um die Lehrer zu unterhalten.
Wir Schüler sollten ein paar Aufführungen vorbereiten, aber es freut uns nicht.
Danach gibt es noch eine Disco für jung und alt. Eintritt frei :)
Die Zeit ist leider wie im Fluge vergangen und diese Nacht ist auch schon die Letzte.
Wir werden die Lehrer sicher lange munter halten.
Today, it was snowing all the time. However the snow was great for boarding and skiing.
It was very sad that some children got hurt. Lisa Veres broke her nose and Michael Schnauder got a concussion. Alexander Atzesberger broke his right wrist. Despite their injuries the "victims" are happy.
Today is the colourful evening from the children. We should make a few performances but we haven't prepared anything. :[
Afterwards there is a disco for the kids because we were so nice and cute. xD The access to the disco is free.
The time has flown by very quickly and this night will be the last one. That's very sad.
But we are going to keep up the teachers for a very long time.

Mittwoch in Saalbach Hinterglemm
Heute war es wie in dem Film *The day after tomorrow*
Morgens: Es hat stark geregnet/geschneit.
Mittags: Blauer Himmel und Sonnenschein.
Nachmittags: Sehr starker Sturm.
Abends: Starker Schneefall.
Die Snowboarder fuhren bei einem Eissturm die Schattberg-Nordpiste hinab. Denen, die keine Sturm-Haube hatten, sind die Wangen halb eingefroren. Aber es war urgeil!!!!!
Gestern Abend hatten wir Soziales Lernen und diskutierten über Alkohol-Konsum und Gruppenzwang. Danach machten wir ein Lagerfeuer und rutschten den Hang hinab, leider mussten wir aber vorher die Piste hinauf gehen ....;-)))
Heute Abend findet der bunte Abend statt, aber leider wollen uns die Lehrer nicht verraten, was wir da machen werden.

In the morning it was raining and / or snowing.
At lunch it was blue sky and sunshine.
In the afternoon there was an icestorm.
In the evening it was snowing very heavily.
The snowboarders were riding the on the Schattberg-Nord slope. The people who didn't have a ski mask had half-frozen faces but it was really wicked.!!!!
Last night we had a social learning session and dicussed about alcohol and peer pressure.
Afterwards we made a big camp-fire and we slid down the slope with plastic-bags. But the only bad thing was that we had to climp up the hill. :-))
This evening we're going to have a colourful evening, but the teachers don't want to tell us what 's happening.
The only bad thing about the course is that we have to go to bed very early-at 10 o'clock!!!!

Tuesday at Saalbach - in German and English!
Heute in der Früh war das Wetter sehr schlecht. Unten im Tal war es nebelig und bei uns schneite es stark. Wir hatten etwa 20cm Neuschnee, was für allem für die Snowboarder lustig war.
Für die Gruppe mit Herrn Professor Brixel war es sehr schwierig, mit den Funcarvern im Tiefschnee zu fahren.
Am Nachmittag kam die Sonne dann heraus, und der Schnee wurde sehr schwer. Die Pisten waren schwer zu fahren. Leider gab es auch zwei Verletzte. Mathias Kapl und Herr Professor Gruber erlitten bei Stürzen Verletzungen.
Gestern Abend schauten die Schüler der 3s und t einen Film über Lawinen an. Wir mussten einen Fragebogen ausfüllen. Viele Menschen sterben an Lawinen.
Unser Zimmer konnte bei der Zimmerkontrolle ein DoppelPlus erreichen! Eigentlich wollte Frau Professor Treuer uns am Vorabend ein 7fach Minus geben!!!! :-)
Später machen wir heute noch ein Lagerfeuer.
Der Tag heute war sehr anstrengend, aber wir hatten viel Spaß!

In the morning the weather was really bad! Down in the valley, there was some fog and at the Ellmaualm, it was snowing heavily. We had 20 cm of fresh snow. It was fantastic for the snowboarders.
For the group with Professor Brixel it was very hard because they took the funcarvers.
In the afternoon, the sun came out and the snow melted and became heavy. The slopes were difficult to ride on. There were two accidents. Mathias Kapl and Herr Professor Gruber had to go to the doctor´s.
Yesterday night 3s and 3t watched a film about avalanches. We had to fill in a questionnaire. A lot of people die of avalanches.
Our room was so clean that we reached a double plus in the room check. Actually, Frau Professor Treuer wanted to give us 7 minuses the night before!!! ;-)))
Later tonight, we are going to make a campfire.
Today was very taxing/exhausting but we had a lot of fun!

Our first day in Saalbach Hinterglemm
We left our school on Sunday at 9 o'clock. We were very sad because Birgit and Max weren't able to go with us. We arrived at half past twelve in Saalbach Hinterglemm. There we moved into our rooms and in the afternoon we made our groups. In the evening we had dinner and afterwards we had a first aid course.
We had to go to bed at half past nine but we stayed up till eleven o'clock ;-)) .
Today it was a lot of fun because there were nice boys (joke):-p)!!
The snow was difficult to ski in. In the morning it was very hard and in the afternoon it was too soft. Those were our first two days!!
